Since then, Udyogini has been working with more than 50,000 aspiring women entrepreneurs from resource poor contexts at any given time. It enables them to acquire skills, resources and means to set up their enterprise so they earn a decent income. Lately, Udyogini has emerged as a leading NGO working to provide customized “Business Development Services” for rural women in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand through working on some selected otential product value chains like Lac, Poultry, Goat and high value agricultural crops. The value chain approach has enabled the organization to equip women in rural areas with the requisite skills and knowledge to enhance their income and social status. The youth in urban and rural areas are provided with self-employment and skill-based placements while other NGOs and Government projects have availed support from Udyogini for delivery of its business services.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

The Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Associate will be responsible for developing the monitoring and evaluation plan for the project and the project log frame as well as monitoring the progress made by the project on an annual basis. The incumbent will assist the MEL manager in the evaluation of the impacts and effectiveness of the project by working with the team and incorporating M&E tools in project activities and coordinate with project staff to set targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Based on the results and data acquired from the year, the position will assist in planning the scope of work for the coming year and make recommendations to ensure the targets set by donors are achieved. The MEL Associate will also collect detailed data of the project activities and will store them in a readily available format for the project stakeholders. In addition to data collection and analysis, the MEL Associate will also assist the manager in maintaining positive relations with donors and partners. The main responsibilities of the M&E Associate will include: 1. Development of the MEL plan for the project 2. Development of weekly activity bulletins to be sent to the donors and provide a monthly compilation of activity bulletins to all the states. 3. Prepare quarterly reports on work plan progress and activity and monitor deliverables and impact of the project. 4. Develop and maintain a database of key performance indicators for the project and monitor progress and success. 5. Develop and maintain MEL tools which are capable of capturing the necessary information for KPIs 6. Travel for MEL related activities such as evaluation, case-study development or feasibility assessment 7. Perform other duties as may be assigned including but not limited to responsibilities for managing related project components and contributing to the project team as and when needed

Qualifications, Experience And Competencies

1. University degree in Business or Public Administration, Economics, Statistics, Management, or a related field. Professional certificate in Project Management and MEL related topics are highly advantageous. 2. Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in developing and implementing M&E tools, systems report mechanisms, at the national level is preferred, however freshers interested in the research domain are encouraged to apply. 3. Experience with impact assessments, results-based monitoring and reporting, qualitative and quantitative analysis and research are essential 4. Demonstrated experience in the use of M&E tools, research and statistical analysis, and web-based networking platforms and content management applications. 5.
